100 Thieves would part with Joshua “steel” Nissan from its VALUING roster and will use Aaron “b0i” Thao for the VALUING Champions Tour (VCT) Last Chance Qualifier, according to a report by George Geddes of Upcomer.

Sources: 100 Thieves Steel player has been removed from the roster.

The organization will align b0i as a replacement. 100T is configured to play in the #VCT LCQ next month for a final blow to Champions.

The story is developing.

The report states that 100 Thieves withdrew the steel from the VALUING line-up and will advance with substitute player Aaron “b0i” Thao in his place. Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella “will probably” take over the leadership position of the game in the future, according to Geddes.

The team recently finished in the top four of the VCT Masters Berlin tournament after being knocked out by Envy in the semi-finals. Steel had a rough time in Berlin and ended the event with a K / D of 0.79, according to VLR.gg.

During the event, Steel said he “couldn’t concentrate and was playing blanks” which was detrimental to the rest of the squad. The Thieves were also disappointed to lose to Envy in the semifinals, as that victory would have guaranteed a grand final appearance. The match was a one-sided affair, with 100 Thieves winning just five rounds over Haven. They performed slightly better on Ascent but still lost 13-8.

100 thieves have another chance to become champions in December during the last-ditch qualifying. During the event, nitr0 could take on the role of game leader and b0i could have a chance to shine on the starting roster. However, 100 Thieves has not officially revealed this roster change, and the situation may change before the Last Chance Qualifer.
