Meghan Markle News: Reassuring Words to Harry at Jubilee Service | royal | New

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to Britain last week to take part in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The working former Royals were barely spotted during the crazy four days, opting to keep a low profile. Their presence at St. Paul’s Cathedral was the only time they were seen in public with the rest of the royal family.

However, Prince Harry and Meghan were forced to sit in the second row at a distance of 25 feet from Prince William and Prince Charles.

The demotion to second-tier Royals appears to be having a troubling effect on the Duke of Sussex.

His wife, however, did her best to reassure her husband that all was well in the world.

According to a lip reader, Meghan turned to Prince Harry one step away from the 50-minute service and said, “Yeah, that’ll be fine.”

A leading royal expert claimed the seating arrangement was intended to prevent the brothers from coming face to face.

Ingrid Seward told Fabulous: “The excuse was that since they’re no longer active members, they literally had to take a back seat.

“The reality is that the palace has determined that there will be no photographs that could reveal any animosity between the brothers.

“Becoming a ‘second-row royal’ is hard for Harry to swallow.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to return early to the United States, where they are based.

They missed out on the platinum jubilee contest, which capped off the four-day celebration.

The couple, along with their two children Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, were already in the air when the spectacular parade began on Sunday.

The crowd roared as the 96-year-old monarch emerged with a broad smile and surveyed the patriotic sea of supporters waving the Union Jack flag before her.

The Queen had missed many events during the Platinum Jubilee, including the Epsom Races, after experiencing ‘discomfort’ during the opening day parade on Thursday.

The Queen said in a statement on Saturday that she was “humbled and deeply touched” by everyone who came together at events in London and elsewhere in the UK to mark her milestone.

The monarch said: “When it comes to marking seventy years as Queen, there is no guide to follow.

“It really is a first. But I was touched and deeply touched that so many people took to the streets to celebrate my platinum jubilee.”
