A source told the Mail on Sunday: ‘The Duchess is working on a stunning Jubilee wardrobe and Sarah Burton is said to have been to Kensington Palace’
A source told the Mail on Sunday: “The Duchess is working on a stunning Jubilee wardrobe and Sarah Burton is said to have been to Kensington Palace.
“Some of Kate’s favorite designers got special seats in the Platinum Pageant stands, but Alexander McQueen would be her favourite.
“Whether they’re working on a dress for the balcony or for another event like prom, or both, remains to be seen.”
Royal fashion collaborations are often shrouded in secrecy.
Ms Burton’s work on the Duchess’ wedding dress in 2011 was so secret that it was smuggled into the Goring Hotel, where Kate spent her last night as an unmarried woman, in pieces in boxes unmarked and assembled inside.
Kate’s stylist Natasha Archer declined to comment.
Ms. Burton did not respond.
