Steel Strip Wheels Ltd. performed better than expected in the fourth quarter of fiscal 21, mainly driven by strong improvement in alloy rims and exports.
The company produced 4.02 lakh aluminum alloy rims for the fourth quarter of fiscal 21.
For FY21, alloy wheel volumes increased 246% to 0.11 crore, while revenue also increased 235% to Rs 338 crore.
Alloy rims contributed approximately 23% of the revenue share in the fourth quarter of FY21 and 22% in FY21 (compared to just 7% in FY20).
Being a high margin product compared to steel rims, alloy rims helped the company increase its Ebitda margins by 418 basis points (YOY) to 12.3%.
