The idea of ​​Batman having visions of Superman going awry – or even living that storyline – has become a recurring theme in alternate reality DC stories such as the New 52-era comic book title Earth-2, and as glimpsed in the films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
